Department Lead / Architect
Tectonics Design Group is a full-service Architecture and Engineering firm based in Reno, NV where fresh air and outdoor recreation are the norm, and freeway gridlock isn’t. We’re seeking a motivated architect to aide in the design / production and management of commercial projects in the thriving Northern Nevada market and the western U.S. This role is an opportunity for you to grow in parallel with our practice as a more senior member of our team in a highly collaborative, supportive environment. Successful candidates will have the ability to transition to become a department lead for our growing and fast paced firm.

Requirements
• Interest in rapid career growth with high degree of responsibility and ownership.
• Extremely detail-oriented, organized, precise, and reliable.
• An appreciation of good design, ability to have fun at work, and be committed to producing quality projects.
• Knowledge of the IBC, ADA, and life safety issues.
• Leadership, collaboration, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Be a licensed architect, or can get a license in NV and CA.
• AutoCAD and Revit experience with commercial projects.
• Positive attitude; ability motivate and work well with others in a team setting in an environment that can be demanding and occasionally stressful.
