This architectural Firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of K–12 public school projects across New York State, from early planning through construction closeout. This is a high-visibility leadership role for someone who enjoys guiding teams, managing stakeholders, and delivering complex institutional work with clarity, consistency, and pride.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Principal-in-Charge, Project Architect, internal design teams, and consultants to drive project performance—balancing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction—while helping shape strong, sustainable learning environments for NY communities.
What You’ll Do
Lead project delivery from inception through closeout, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and client goals
Define scope, track deliverables, and coordinate integrated project planning
Serve as a primary point of contact for district stakeholders, administrators, and project partners
Lead and document project meetings; provide consistent updates on progress, decisions, and challenges
Oversee the quality and organization of design and documentation from concept through CDs
Ensure integration of NYS codes, NYSED/SED requirements, and project-specific regulatory needs
Manage QA/QC processes and maintain high documentation standards
Coordinate closely with the Project Architect and technical leads to ensure accuracy and clarity
Mentor and develop staff at all levels—supporting growth, performance, and accountability
Contribute to improving firmwide PM tools, processes, and standards
Represent professionalism, strengthening long-term client relationships
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
10+ years of project management experience, including substantial K–12 or institutional work
Strong ability to lead complex conversations with clients, consultants, and internal teams
Proven leadership, mentoring, and team development skills
Demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, staffing, and documentation quality
Must be located within driving distance of New York State projects
