Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an Interior Designer with 5+ years of experience dedicated to sustainability and excited to push the boundaries of conventional design. The ideal candidate will have a strong personal connection to the values of holistic sustainability and a desire to create impactful, inspiring spaces.


Key Responsibilities

As a part of our education studio, you will collaborate with project teams from concept to construction. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Client interaction and presentation delivery

  • Researching and selecting finishes and materials

  • Developing concept-level designs and space planning

  • Conducting product research

  • Designing custom furniture and casework

  • Writing specifications and coordinating with multiple disciplines

  • Creating construction documents

  • Overseeing construction administration and project implementation


Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years of interior design experience, with a focus on Higher Education or K-12 projects

  • Proficiency in Revit (and willingness to learn new software)

  • Strong graphic and visualization skills to clearly communicate design ideas

  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen aesthetic sense

  • Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills

  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities

  • NCIDQ and LEED certifications (or a willingness to obtain them)

  • Located within driving distance of our Upstate/Central New York projects
