Position Overview
We seek an enthusiastic, full-time Residential Interior Designer to join our Boca Raton Design Firm team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Design Director, Design Assistants, and support staff to ensure each project exceeds client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all levels of interior design, including conceptualization, specification, project organization, installation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Prepared and professionally presented design concepts to clients.
• Develop proposals and budgets for projects.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Provide guidance and recommendations on FF&E selections.
• Conduct job site visits and oversee installations.
• Address client questions promptly and professionally.
• Provide weekly project updates to the Design Director and clients.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5-7 years preferred, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
• Expertise: Must have experience in new construction and renovations.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of cabinetry, tile, stone, custom finishes, lighting, plumbing, and hardware.
• Education: A bachelor’s degree in interior design from an accredited program is required. NCIDQ certification preferred.
• Skills: Proficient in design and construction principles. Strong presentation, communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Knowledge of G-Suite, AutoCAD, and SketchUp; familiarity with Design Manager is a plus.
• Attributes: Persistent, proactive, and resourceful with a professional attitude.
• Portfolio: Submission of a design portfolio is required.
