We are now expanding our team and seeking a talented Landscape Architect. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with plenty of leads, focusing on understanding client goals and delivering outstanding results.
Primary Duties:
- Design outdoor spaces that align with the client’s goals, budget, and aesthetic preferences. Develop design packages that clearly illustrate the vision.
- Estimate projects and create proposals for client approval.
- Transition projects from the design/sales phase into construction.
- Oversee fieldwork and provide construction administration to ensure installations meet the design vision.
- Support the sales team and division managers with graphics, production, and coordination.

- Strong hand-drawing and digital graphic skills to convey design intentions to clients and provide direction to installation crews.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills when interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to meet sales goals with a client-focused approach.
- Field skills to assess site conditions, gather information for base plans and approve field layouts during construction.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality results.
- Desire to work collaboratively in teams to achieve company-wide goals.
Requirements:
- A degree in landscape architecture or a related field, with at least five years of industry-specific experience. Ideally, experience in a design/build environment with an understanding of construction methods and practices.
- At least three years of sales experience, including familiarity with CRM and estimating software (experience with LMN is a plus) or the ability to learn industry-specific software quickly.
- Proficiency in CAD or landscape design software (AutoCAD preferred) and exceptional graphic skills in hand drawing/rendering, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software. Experience with 3-D graphic software is welcome.
- Knowledge of local regulations and experience in land use and environmental permitting.
- Experience designing and estimating planting and hardscape projects. Experience designing and estimating irrigation and lighting systems is a plus.
- Construction administration or project management experience is desired.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Salary & Benefits:
- Annual sales goal: $1M
- Total compensation with commissions: $100,000-$130,000
- Benefits: Health insurance, 401K with 3% matching funds, paid holidays, and 2-3 weeks of vacation.
