  • Define scope, track deliverables, and coordinate integrated project planning

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for district stakeholders, administrators, and project partners

  • Lead and document project meetings; provide consistent updates on progress, decisions, and challenges

  • Oversee the quality and organization of design and documentation from concept through CDs

  • Ensure integration of NYS codes, NYSED/SED requirements, and project-specific regulatory needs

  • Manage QA/QC processes and maintain high documentation standards

  • Coordinate closely with the Project Architect and technical leads to ensure accuracy and clarity

  • Mentor and develop staff at all levels—supporting growth, performance, and accountability

  • Contribute to improving firmwide PM tools, processes, and standards

  • Represent  professionalism, strengthening long-term client relationships

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture

  • 10+ years of project management experience, including substantial K–12 or institutional work

  • Strong ability to lead complex conversations with clients, consultants, and internal teams

  • Proven leadership, mentoring, and team development skills

  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, staffing, and documentation quality

  • Must be located within driving distance of New York State projects

Role Expectations

Project Managers take full ownership of project outcomes—balancing design intent, technical execution, financial health, and stakeholder confidence. You’ll be valued for anticipating challenges, guiding teams through complexity, and delivering consistent results while modeling professionalism and supporting a positive team culture.

  • Lead meaningful K–12 projects that directly impact communities across New York State

  • Collaborative, team-driven studio culture
