This role encompasses all aspects from design and schematic development to construction documentation and administration.

Summary:
The Project Architect collaborates closely with partners and Senior Managers, overseeing production and project coordination from inception to completion.

Qualifications:
• Professional degree in Architecture
• Licensed Architect (preferred)
• 10+ years of Architecture experience
• Extensive project management experience across various project types
• Proficiency in the Florida Building Code (FBC)
• Fluent in REVIT for overseeing building permit production
• Experience developing projects with the historic charm of the Southern Carolinas.

Responsibilities:
• Attend bi-weekly project meetings and liaise with clients
• Conduct zoning and building code analysis
• Generate 3-D models from hand sketches or CAD drawings
• Participate in client meetings and lead projects from schematic design to building permits
• Conduct code research and product identification
• Coordinate project consultants and manage REVIT models
• Facilitate the building permit process and attend construction meetings
• Provide regular project progress reports to partners
• Utilize software tools such as REVIT, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Manage projects using Smartsheet, Procore, Timesheet, and Excel

Additional Responsibilities:
• Support projects from design inception to construction completion
• Execute design tasks and architectural detailing
• Produce schematic, design development, and construction documents
• Make critical decisions in collaboration with the department director and designers
• Provide leadership for project teams and coordinate documentations
• Perform construction administration duties, including responding to RFI’s, RFP’s, and change orders
• Provide feedback and mentorship to ensure project success
• Ensure projects are within budget and schedule constraints
• Coordinate with internal and external consultants for seamless project delivery
