Archipro Staff Agency is representing a premier landscape design-build and pool company in Tucson seeking a talented Landscape Designer to join their growing team. This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-end, referral-driven environment working with affluent clientele on large-scale outdoor living projects.
This role blends creative design, client-facing presentation, and consultative sales, with strong internal support and a proven process designed for success.
Role Summary
The Landscape Designer is both a creative lead and client advisor, responsible for designing and presenting high-end outdoor environments including pools, landscapes, and shade structures.
You will guide clients from concept through contract, then hand off to the production team—without project management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
- Meet with qualified leads and referrals (no cold chasing required)
- Conduct consultations to understand the client’s vision, lifestyle, and budget
- Present professionally to high-end clientele with clarity and confidence
- Build relationships from the first meeting through the project handoff
Design & Proposal Development
- Create concept through construction-ready plans
- Utilize tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp/Pool Studio, and Adobe Suite
- Incorporate pools, landscaping, and outdoor living elements
- Revise designs based on client feedback
Project Closure
- Present and design-build solutions
- Collaborate with estimating to align design with budget
- Deliver polished proposals and close contracts
- Achieve realistic and supported sales goals (no targets in Year 1)
Project Handoff
- Transition signed projects to the production team
- Communicate design intent and client expectations clearly
- Remain available for design clarification during construction
CRM & Process Management
- Maintain accurate records in company systems (Aspire, BuilderTrend)
- Track client interactions, proposals, and pipeline activity
- Follow a structured, proven sales and design process

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture (required)
- Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in landscape design-build
- Experience with pool design strongly preferred
- Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp / Pool Studio
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to step in and contribute immediately

Work Environment
- Full-time, in-office (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Local travel to client sites (typically within 15 minutes)
- Company phone + mileage reimbursement provided
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $75,000 – $100,000
- Performance-based bonus
